An old-established tea garden that has been dedicated to tea cultivation for over 260 years in Shirakawa-go, the mountain village of Uji, passed down through generations.

A tea garden in Shirakawa that has been operating for ten generations since Hōreki 9 (1760). We cultivate 11 varieties of high-quality tea using organic fertilizers and low-pesticide methods. Skilled tea pickers hand-pick the finest leaves, which are then processed using the "Uji Tea Method (hand-rolling)"—a technique passed down for over 200 years. This artisanal skill produces Uji tea with unparalleled umami. You can also purchase highly rare gyokuro, cultivated by only a select few skilled tea harvesting experts.
