A Hidden Bar in Uji, Tucked Away Just off Ujibashi Street
Run by a YouTuber and certified beer sommelier, this cozy bar is nestled in a quiet alley branching from Ujibashi Street.
Inside, the retro-style atmosphere features a counter lined with bottles of liquor as well as comfortable box seating. The owner will help you choose—or even create—drinks suited to your taste, so even newcomers to bars, whisky, or cocktails can relax and enjoy with confidence.
Original creations are also on the menu, such as the “Ujibashi-dori Jin Tonic,” a cocktail made with gin and tencha (tea leaves: the raw product of Matcha) produced at Kyoto Uji Chabo Yamamoto Jinjiro.
