A charming gelato shop operated by Rishouen Tea Shop, a tea wholesaler founded in 1947, with a focus on premium tea.
Some people may associate tea with being bitter or astringent, but high-quality teas are all about savoring their rich aroma and depth of flavor, rather than just their bitterness. To enhance the natural taste of these fine teas, we prepare our gelato with a handmade milk base. You can enjoy our Uji tea and gelato, carefully brewed one cup at a time. We offer a variety of teas and gelatos, including matcha, gyokuro, sencha, hojicha, and Japanese black tea. We hope that visitors of all ages—from children to adults—can experience the wonderful taste of Japanese tea.
