“Silk” is a jewel made by nature. We strive to preserve the tradition of Kyoto Kumihimo that is said to have more than 3,500 variations.
We make “Kyoto style Kumihimo (braids)” with over 3,500 variations using beautiful silk that shines like a jewel.
We sit on the chair in Japanese style and skillfully use 68 wooden balls on both sides to make one Kumihimo while looking at “Ayasho (guide book)” that reminds you of a music sheet. We are striving to find new styles of Kyoto style Kumihimo whether it be kimonos, oranements for shrines and temples, jewelries, clothes and interior goods. We are looking forward to serving you.
