About Icons

Please have an amazing time in front of Byodoin and Hououdo alongside the Ujigawa river while enjoying the tasteful sense of seasons.

Located at the base of Byodoin Hououdo with the Ujigawa river in the back, we serve seasonal Kyoto cuisine dishes cooked with the rich, seasonal ingredients of Japan.
Through the gate and our garden, rooms on the first floor are equipped with sunken Kotatsu. On the second floor, we have Tatami rooms from where visitors can enjoy the Ujigawa river and the four seasons.
