Nanjo Workshop was founded in Kyoto over 200 years ago to make Orin bells for use in Buddhist rituals. Their bells are made with a copper alloy called Sahari, a tradition that dates back to the Orin bells of the Shoso-in Repository, the treasure house of Todai-ji Temple established in the 8th century.
""Wouldn't it be nice if people were able to experience the tones of Sahari Orin bells even in their regular daily life?"" With this thought, LinNe STUDIO was formed.
Every LinNe piece is crafted with painstaking care until it reaches its ultimate tone. The feelings that each bell evokes differ for every person. ""Nostalgic""... ""Calming""... ""Refreshing""... ""Immersive""...
