Ocha-no-Utsuwa Asahi Pottery
A pottery that walked through the 400 years of history with the tea culture of Uji since its foundation back in the Keicho period. We make many kinds of dishes and potteries, mainly tea things and teapots.
“Asahi Pottery” is the only pottery that was built at the base of Mt. Asahi under the direction of Kobori Masakazu during the Keicho period (the late Momoyama period ~ the early Edo period). We have reached our 16th generation with our master, Hosai Matsubayashi. We put great effort into details of potteries that we make with our tradition and techniques. We also have our own shop and gallery located next to the atelier. We are looking forward to seeing you.

Nanjo Workshop was founded in Kyoto over 200 years ago to make Orin bells for use in Buddhist rituals. Their bells are made with a copper alloy called Sahari, a tradition that dates back to the Orin bells of the Shoso-in Repository, the treasure house of Todai-ji Temple established in the 8th century.
""Wouldn't it be nice if people were able to experience the tones of Sahari Orin bells even in their regular daily life?"" With this thought, LinNe STUDIO was formed.

A soy sauce brewery that follows traditional methods, and brews high-quality soy sauce carefully and slowly with details.
Since 1920, we have been producing pure natural soy sauce, leveraging our unique techniques and traditions for over 90 years. Our soy sauce retains its original flavor while being crafted to be healthier with less sodium, characterized by a smooth taste without the sharp saltiness. In addition to our various soy sauces, we also recommend our original sake "Ujigawa."
